Founded in 1993 by the late Honourable Senator Professor Datuk Dr. Ismail Md. Salleh, Twintech began as the Twintech Institute of Technology. In 1996, Land & General Berhad invested in the institution, leading to its renaming as L & G Twintech Institute of Technology. By 2003, it was upgraded to Twintech International University College of Technology, following the recommendation of Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education.
Over the years, TWINTECH has established itself as a leading higher education provider, offering world-class programs to nurture skilled professionals for national development. It has earned prestigious recognitions, including Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status and ISO 9001:2008 certification (2011-2014), covering both academic programs and administrative operations.
