On October 15, 2023, against the backdrop of the joint launch of a series of key education cooperation projects between Shandong Province and Malaysia, a delegation from Twintech International University College of Technology, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Selvaraj Oyyan Pillay, visited Shandong Liming Science and Technology College and formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the institution.

Deepening Consensus and Jointly Charting the Development Blueprint
During the visit, the Twintech delegation was warmly received by Professor Liu Xiaochen, President of Shandong Liming Science and Technology College, and his team. Prof. Dr. Selvaraj Oyyan Pillay expressed that Liming College, as New China’s first private higher education institution integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine, possesses a unique educational positioning and profound cultural heritage that highly complements Twintech’s development strategy, providing broad prospects for bilateral cooperation.


Accelerating Implementation Through Signing
Witnessed by representatives from both sides, the two institutions signed the strategic cooperation agreement on-site. This significant step not only embodies the outcomes of prior negotiations but also provides institutional assurance for the rapid implementation of subsequent cooperative projects. The agreement focuses on key areas including joint student cultivation, faculty exchanges, academic collaboration, and the integration of industry and education. It outlines a specific timeline and implementation pathway for initiating cooperative programs in distinctive fields such as Chinese Medicine, Ophthalmic Technology, and Art and Design, aiming to jointly cultivate high-quality international talents that meet the needs of the Belt and Road Initiative.

During their visit, the Twintech delegation toured Liming College’s Red Culture and Ideological and Political Education Observation Base. Vice Chancellor Selvaraj highly appreciated the college’s innovative practice of utilizing cultural education through red cultural relics and documents. He noted that this model, which deeply integrates professional education with cultural heritage, adds unique value and humanistic significance to the future international cooperation between the two institutions.


Opening a New Chapter and Focusing on Future Development
This visit and signing represent a significant milestone for Twintech International University College of Technology in expanding its education cooperation network in the Asia-Pacific region. Both parties have agreed to use this agreement as a starting point to establish regular communication mechanisms and accelerate the implementation of specific collaborative content, including curriculum alignment, faculty exchanges, and joint research. Twintech is confident that through in-depth cooperation with Liming College, it will not only further enhance the university’s internationalization level but also set a new model for synergistic development in higher education between the two countries.
