The school was founded by Professor Dr Ismail Shahri and was originally named Twintech Technology College.
Twintech International University College of Technology.
The school's educational strength and quality have received authoritative national certification, and its official name is Twintech International University College of Technology.

Throughout its development, TWINTECH has achieved numerous remarkable accomplishments and recognitions, including obtaining Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status and ISO 9001:2008 certification from 2011 to 2014.
Four-Star Honorary Title.
Approved International Student Admission Permit KDN. It was subsequently awarded the four-star honorary title by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education.
