This programme is specifically designed to provide a rich learning experience for professionals who aspire to pursue a postgraduate qualification and enhance their problem solving skills and develop research expertise.
Our curriculum design abandons the traditional long-semester dispersed teaching model in favor of a highly condensed modular immersive learning (Block Teaching) approach and Blended Learning (combining online and offline elements), greatly facilitating senior participants in efficiently balancing work and study.
The DBA curriculum builds upon the MBA knowledge framework and is more research-oriented, cutting-edge, and critical. Terms like “Contemporary Perspectives,” “Strategic,” and “Decision” in the course titles highlight its characteristics of leading trends and shaping the future.
Research-Driven Curriculum:
All courses are designed to guide participants from being practitioners to becoming researchers who combine practice and theory. For example, Contemporary Perspectives in Human Resource Management does not teach traditional HR modules but explores frontier issues such as agile organizations, talent ecosystems, and the economics of well-being.
In-Depth Seminar Discussions:
Utilizes small-class, seminar-style teaching. The professor’s role is more like a facilitator and catalyst for intellectual(collision – often translated as exchange or debate in this context). Participants must contribute cases based on real problems from their own enterprises and engage in co-creation; the classroom itself is a high-level management seminar.
Integration of Original Research:
From the first semester, the requirements for Research Methods courses are far higher than at the MBA level, directly preparing for the doctoral dissertation proposal and research. Participants’ research work proceeds simultaneously with their coursework, each reinforcing the other.
